WHAT IS NEW AT WESTPORT | Westport Plaza
Westport Plaza is bringing you some exciting events this August and they are all at the new patio by the lake! On Friday, August 11th watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer\’s Stone underneath the stars. The movie will be shown on the hill area overlooking the lake. Bring the family out early for pre-movie festivities that include Harry Potter character photo ops from 6:50-7:50 pm. The movie will begin at sundown. Don’t miss Happy Hour by the Lake on Thursday, August 17th. Enjoy live music from Trixie Delight from 5-8pm along with some amazing drink specials. Play outdoor games that include Shuffleboard, Ping Pong, BEER PONG, Cornhole and more! Stay in shape all month along with fitness classes from Yoga Buzz, Steph Z Cardio Dance and Barre 3. WESTPORT DRINK RUN | Saturday, August 5th – Westport Plaza
The Maryland Heights Chamber of Commerce will host their 3rd Annual Pub Crawl, the “Westport Drink Run,” on Saturday, August 5th. Leave your tennis shoes at home – this is a drinking event! Your day will begin at Drunken Fish Sushi Restaurant & Lounge with registration starting at 2:30pm. Stops will include Fuzzy\’s Taco Shop, Trainwreck Saloon and Jive & Wail Dueling Pianos. Tickets are $30 and include a beverage at each stop. Be sure to register early, the first 50 people registered will receive a commemorative cup. This event is sponsored by Westport Plaza and Grey Eagle Distribution.

AUGUST CONCERTS | All Month Long – Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre
Hollywood is only halfway through their 2017 concert season and great shows still remain. 105.7 The Point Presents: Young the Giant Aug. 4th and Chris Stapleton comes to town on Aug. 5th. Green Day is bringing their Revolution Radio Tour Aug. 14th. Foreigner with Cheap Trick & Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience Aug. 16th, Lady Antebellum Aug. 17th, and KSHE Presents El Monstero with STL Philharmonic Orchestra on Aug. 26th. PAINTING FOR A CAUSE | Thursday, August 17th – Artherapy Studios
Artherapy Studios is hosting a painting party for a cause! Relax while you’re painting a beautiful beach scene where you can almost feel the ocean air and hear the waves. Create your masterpiece all while helping a great cause!! Proceeds go to benefit Deaconess Nursing Ministry, a non-profit organization that provides mental, physical and spiritual health – related services, education and advocacy to seniors and low-income adults. Cost is $38 per person and class begins at 6pm.
