Saturday, September 7th

Join the City of Maryland Heights for an entire day of skating, hockey and fun during the Centene Community Ice Center Grand Opening Celebration! Be a part of the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. with a special guest performance of the National Anthem. There will be plenty of free, outdoor activities until 3 p.m. for the entire family including inflatables, the bubble bus, airbrush tattoos and more. Check out the ongoing showcase of local hockey throughout the afternoon including Lindenwood University. To close out the day, there will be an adult public skate from 10-11:30 p.m. for those 18 and older. AND, be one of the first 3,000 people to attend and receive a scratch-off ticket for a chance to win one of the thousands of our exclusive giveaway prizes.

Please help to support the PEDAL THE CAUSE #beansbreadsbikes team for the 100-mile bike ride in September led by three of STL’s favorite brands: Kaldi’s Coffee, Companion Baking and Big Shark Bicycle. Dine for the Cause takes place on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at the Companion West STL Cafe from 6pm to 8:30pm. Event is open to the public. Tickets include tastings from food stations prepared by local chefs, beer/wine, a silent auction, door prizes and more. Your donation will help our team raise funds for the Pedal the Cause and Siteman Cancer Centers.

Made Festival is an event showcasing and celebrating St. Louis area creatives in a lively modern marketplace. The event is slated for Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Westport Plaza. Formerly known as the Vintage Bliss Market, Made Festival is one of St. Louis’ most creative celebrations of small business, design, local culture, and community. The festival will feature over 70 vendors ranging from vintage artisans to modern retailers and a live music lineup of local and national artists including: Odds Lane Duo, Striking Matches, Alexandra Kay, Three Pedros, & John Gurney.
