Pumpkinland
October 1st – October 31st, Theis Farm — Celebrate the fall season with a visit to Pumpkinland at Thies Farm & Market, open October 1–31! Families can enjoy a giant play area featuring a straw castle, gliders, swings, slides, tunnels, a pirate ship and a corn maze. Of course, there will also be pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins to complete your autumn adventure! Pumpkinland is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a variety of food trucks available on weekends.
Oktoberfest
October 16th & October 17th, Westport Plaza — Dust off your lederhosen and get ready for an unforgettable Oktoberfest celebration at Westport Plaza! Join the fun on Friday, October 16, from 5:00–10:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 17, from 11:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. The plaza will come alive with flowing bier, authentic Bavarian food, live music and plenty of dancing. Gather your friends and family for a festive fall weekend filled with German-inspired food, drinks and entertainment!
Fall Family Fair
Saturday, October 17th Vago Park— Enjoy a fun-filled day of free family activities at Vago Park! The event will feature an all-day petting zoo, pony rides, bounce houses, plus hayrides and face painting available for free. Take a "Paint-a-Pumpkin" to go, starting at 11:00 a.m. (Available while supplies last.) Don’t miss the crowd-favorite Kids’ Costume Contest, kicking off at noon sharp. Food trucks will be on-site with delicious food and drinks available for purchase. A pop-up market will also be available all day.
Spooky Skate
Saturday, October 24th, Centene Community Ice Center— Frightful fun awaits you and your family at the Centene Community Ice Center. Trick or treat yourself to a spook-tacular afternoon of fun on Saturday, October 24th for the first ever Spooky Skate! Featuring, family friendly ice skating, pumpkin decorating station, complimentary candy bags, and spooky music. Costumes are encouraged - wear your Halloween costume to receive a complimentary public skate pass to use at a future visit!
